We focus on developing competitive athletes and horses. With that in mind we developed a business that caters to those needs. Only selecting and accepting riders and boarders with similar competitive goals allows for the atmosphere to stay supportive and exciting. We are highly involved in the Maritime show circuits with goals to expand to the Ontario circuits in coming years.
About me:
Brittney O'Donnell
I began my riding career at the age of 8 with the local Pony Club in Fredericton, NB. I continued to pursue my passion for horses in the Bachelor of Science in Bio Resource Management, Majoring in Equine Management from the University of Guelph. While in Ontario, I was the captain of my University Polo team and trained under various coaches in numerous disciplines. It was during this time that I fell in love with Eventing. Upon schooling I traveled to various barns throughout central and eastern Canada working with various coaches and training horses. In 2017 I bought our current farm and have been working hard to turn it into a sought after show barn.
First Impressions
My Foal Training work involves an intimate understanding of your foal’s natural and individual history. Your foal has plenty of potential to learn and understand commands, and my techniques will lay the foundation for you to build upon. I combine your needs and wants with the natural attributes of your foal.
Comfortable and Professional
If your horse needs help with a specific physical or behavioral issue, training with Elite Equestrian is a great option! I work closely with my clients to build individual training programs that implement my proven problem-solving process. I know you have a busy schedule, so I will customize a plan that suits your lifestyle.
I specialize in working with abused or misunderstood horses. The horses are given room to make mistakes and learn from them as are the handlers.
The Building Blocks
Lesson programs follow the Equine Canada Rider Levels and traditional system where riders learn and participate in proper horse care, stable management and correct riding techniques. Lessons are offered to ages 4 and up, to all levels from English flat, beginner-intermediate over rails and cross country.
